the canary islands off the coast of africa were a unique travel choice for soty 2014 wes kremer. this absolutely ripping edit shows these guys had non-stop fun the whole time. also featuring torey pudwill, marius syvanen, madars apse, t-funk, tyler surrey and many more!
madars apse, welcome to the pro team! it’s impossible not to get entranced by this lanky, latvian. the world-traveling madars speaks five languages, is university educated and is endless fun to be around. his grace on board is not always mirrored off it; he can be quite clumsy – but lovably so. madars finds friends and adventure wherever wheels and whims take him. if you come across this tall, blonde ripper carrying a skateboard and a banjo in some far off land, you’re in for memorable time.
we'll keep this short. wes is the best! the part is amazing and not only that, it's a blast to watch!big thanks to dc shoes for helping to make it happen!

waiting for lightning is the inspirational story of visionary skateboarder danny way. the film follows the journey of a young boy from a broken home in vista, ca, whose passion for skateboarding would one day bring him fame and a lifetime of accomplishments. way's drive has no limits as exemplified by his creation captured on screen, a ramp of prodigious and dangerous proportions, across many cultural and ideological boundaries to attempt the impossible: jump china's great wall on a skateboard. it's a film about how much abuse the body can sustain, how deep you have to dig to survive the challenges life presents, and how high and far dreams can fly. danny way has not only proven himself to be an incredibly talented skateboarder but also the sport's greatest innovator. in his quest for greatness, way continues to shape the very sport which helped save his own life.
from the producers of "act of valor", "strp into liquid" and "dust to glory" comes "waiting for lightning", a bandito brothers production in association with dc shoes, directed by jacob rosenberg, written by bret anthony johnston, edited by carol martori and produced by max leitman, darryl franklin, jacob rosenberg and hana ripperger-suhler. the film features interviews with travis pastrana, laird hamilton, rodney mullen, mat hoffman, ken block, rob dyrdek and tony hawk.

when dc's chris ray was asked to be one of the 13 filmers to submit a part for transworld skateboarding's latest film, the cinematographer project, ray ray naturally gravitated towards dc am evan smith. with evan's effortless style and unique approach to skating and ray ray's mastery of the angles, editing and hd, this evan part excerpted from the full length dvd is the perfect example of the magic that ensues when a great filmer and a great skater come together for one project.
