lib legs 2013 (the movie).

lib tech skate hits the road with rippers to rip ripping skateparks on unbreakable skateboards made by bitchin' skateboarders with jobs in the usa (near canada). these trips are known as lib tech legs. this movie features those legs with skating from the likes of sky siljeg, mikey swearingen, chad fenlon and a bunch of other rippers. it's a veritable roadhouse style roundhouse kick to the paunch of park skating! hide your vert! these piles love tile!

we are skateboarders is a 'as real as it gets' documentation of the soul of skateboarding and how some of the legendary skateboarders feel its soul has changed over the years. since the mainstream has come to play a major role in the skateboard industry, there has been much dispute amongst skateboarders if skateboarding is loosing its purity and status as a core activity. the film tackles this issue with enlightening interviews from famous skateboarders such as lance mountain, greg lutzka, rob dyrdek, peter smolik and christian hosoi, creating the most legitimate discussion towards the controversy in the skateboarding industry. shot in los angeles and nyc.

“kids in a candy city” is a new skateboard film directed by adam turrisi out of the washington, d.c. area. the video features five new full-length video parts from skateboarders rob fall, jason sinnawi, tony rollins, daniel kim, isaiah rodriguez, stephen jefferson, jonas durney plus a full part featuring homies. 

k.i.a.c.c. features spots from different areas such as washington, d.c., viriginia, philadelphia, new york city and california.

“as skateboarders, we’re all kids until the day that we die—it’s undeniable. we love to have fun and please our appetite by chasing down the candy which are these spots we crave in these certain cities around the world. once we get the tricks we want at the spot, we’re satisfied.”

for those of you who missed out on the film screening two years back, here's the full length film. a must watch!

jordan richter grew up in a broken home. despite the odds stacked against him, he became a professional skateboarder at the young age of 16. shortly after turning pro, he converted to islam and was told by religious clerics that earning an income from skateboarding was not permissible. dedicated to his new faith, jordan quit his career as as professional skateboarder.

15 years later he finds out that he was misinformed.

in this intimate portrait film, we follow jordan (now 37 years old) as he attempts a return to the world of professional skateboarding. this is his story.

amongst the 23 million people inhabiting shanghai, there is a small and strong skateboard community, many of the individuals in this community are expats that has relocated to china for work or simply to widen their horizon with new experiences.

this video documents a year of traveling and skating throughout china, which is quickly becoming the most popular stomping grounds for amateur and professional skateboarders around the world.

marble and architecture perfect for skating as far as the eye can see, as well as great food and culture makes china a great place to experience for any skater.

the name "panoramic" is a metaphor for being open-minded, which is a must for anybody that wants to live and travel in china, for good and bad.

caught "feel at home" documentary presented by transit cinema and boards and stuff last friday night. fourth january 2013, at the substation guinness theatre.

tho' the turn out was really small, i got to meet some really good people and drank a few cans of colt 45. oh, what a night!

transit’s first movie project is titled "feel at home". the skateboard documentary will introduce you to the collective, their geographic locations and their relations with their respective towns. the documentary illustrates the effect skateboarding can have on the definition of "home".

waiting for lightning is the inspirational story of visionary skateboarder danny way. the film follows the journey of a young boy from a broken home in vista, ca, whose passion for skateboarding would one day bring him fame and a lifetime of accomplishments. way's drive has no limits as exemplified by his creation captured on screen, a ramp of prodigious and dangerous proportions, across many cultural and ideological boundaries to attempt the impossible: jump china's great wall on a skateboard. it's a film about how much abuse the body can sustain, how deep you have to dig to survive the challenges life presents, and how high and far dreams can fly. danny way has not only proven himself to be an incredibly talented skateboarder but also the sport's greatest innovator. in his quest for greatness, way continues to shape the very sport which helped save his own life.
