pictured above is my old, raggedy and smelly ass d.i.y screen printed charles bronson tee and some of their records that i own of 'em, that i could find in my junk pile of records. dekalb hardcore at its finest! i used to dub their records onto a cassette tape and play it in my portable audio cassette player a.k.a walkman and skate to these jams way back then. i still love this shit! anyways, check out their tunes below, yo!

nate greenwood hails from west springfield, massachusetts and came our way by word of mouth and the good folks at theory skate shop. when we all saw his footage, our jaws dropped collectively. it was immediately clear the world needed to see this video part. speaking to nate, you immediately realize he's a humble cool fellow and manages to skate this good while working at a skate shop and attending college full time. we are proud to announce nate greenwood as our newest stereo team member.

as you can see, nate's footage is filmed largely in the city boston and we would like to dedicate this video to victims of the tragic bombing recently at the boston marathon.

fukkin' thrashcore, peeps!

secret seven / fxpxo split seven inch (moo cow records), secret 7 / jahilia split seven inch (thrash steady syndicate) and xsecret 7x - play fast like there is no tomorrow 7" (625 records).

secret seven is one of the most legendary hardcore thrash bands in singapura! they were only around from the late 90's until the early millenium. their shows were always chaotic, tight and fun! in september 2002, their drummer, syed razkin a.k.a arabpunk past away in a tragic motorcycle accident on his way to work (if i am not mistaken) and the record on 625 was dedicated to him. god bless his soul. he was such a humble and gentle guy.

this band was one of my favourite skate thrash band from singapura. too bad they are no longer around. like they always say, when the band reaches their peak, they always disband. i heard they have a full length vinyl lp but i'm not really too sure about that. if any of you guys out there know about it, please hit me up here. thanks!

below is a spilt seven inch from two legendary bands, no comply and xbrainiax (fatal apathy / six two five / i deal records and to live a lie). both bands are from the u.s of a and no comply plays harsh skate thrash while xbrainiax plays power violence. the have tons more records out but i do not have the moolah to score them. oh well...

above are a coupl'a images of a t-shirt artwork (front and back prints) that i screen printed some years back of the one and only gulf coast skate gore band, 50/50. also featured in the images is the self-titled seven inch vinyl record from which i used the actual artworks from, to screen print the t-shirt.

what do you know about...

skate thrash / grind bands and records?

i've been an avid collector of vinyl records since i was the age of eleven, this was back in '92. i listened to almost every genre of music and still do but nothing beats cross over thrash, grindcore, hardcore and punk rock tunes, when i skate. oh yeah, hip hop too but that's another story for another time.

there was a time when mp3s or mp3 players didn't exist and i had to dub / copy the music on my vinyl records to audio cassette tapes and listen to it on my portable audio cassette tape player, also known to most as, walkman. it kept me hyped while i pushed my board around the city. the bygone days of vinyl records and audio cassette tapes, how i miss those times. oh well... time to move on and let the new breed do their thang.

below are some of the skate thrash / grind seven inch vinyl records that i have in my collection. there are certainly more but i'm too lazy to dig them out, these are some that were in reach. ha!

gore skate art record sleeves!

the image above are some intense grindcore bands' seven inch records that has some siq ass gore skateboarding related artworks on their record sleeves.

the one on top with the blue vinyl record, is a split seven inch of total fucking destruction and agoraphobic nosebleed. the artworks for the sleeve cover was done by none other than florian bertmer, who has done some siq plank designs for creature skateboards and substance abuse skateboards, just to name a few.

the one on the bottom is 50/50's debut seven inch. a gulf coast skate gore band that was released on agromosh records & 625 thrash. the artworks for the cover sleeve was done by daniel "sawblade" shaw of mangled graphics, who has done tons of artworks for underground grindcore bands. simply siq!!!

i'm too fuckin' lazy to link up those names, so y'all just go google them yourselves, a'ight? okay, i'm done.
